it's just an elaborate corpse
it doesn't need to breathe air
just an elaborate corpse
it's my right to use force
no need to consult the law
my right to use force
it's not your life
it's not your kid
i can leave it
where i wish
it's an inanimate force
it doesn't need to breathe air
it's an inanimate corpse
it doesn't need a thing to eat
it's an elaborate corpse
it doesn't need anybody
just an elaborate corpse
just an elaborate corpse
just an elaborate corpse

HHHOLMES - GIVE IT TO ME LIKE THE ELECTRIC CHAIR (single)
O gracious blasphemy!
where were you as i drowned?
my head beneath the water
did you watch as i fell under?
did you sink into your own well?
as our lungs fill with water
we are closer to eternity
than we ever were before
O sweet poison!
will you hold me close?
as i break and fold
my hands hanging
off of this bed
like a chandellier
i want to feel
you forever
O bitter blade
my hands clasped
around your slim body
as i push you close
against my chest
i feel whole
one
last
time

pursuit of leisure
in the backseat, her eyes are dull
as she stares complacently out the window
young hearts are yearning for more, she said.
young hearts are yearning for more.
i watch sometimes, out my window
at the people walking in the street
and the cars passing
slowly as if no one
really ever cared
and last night, i heard
the voice of an angel of demon
speak to me through my radio
and the voice said,
"young hearts are yearning for more"
she said, one last time as she slept
forever
as she stares complacently out the window
young hearts are yearning for more, she said.
young hearts are yearning for more.

sweet rain
our bodies echo the sweet sound of passion
resonating off walls in the sweet winter air
we lay folded and wrapped around each other
like paper animals and coccoons
smiling graciously at the sound of the wind
as it blows outside your window
your lips are warm against mine
as we kiss, you shudder
what do we climb when we reach the peak?
do we find other mountains to champion?
and like the falling snow we will melt
into each other as it turns to rain
resonating off walls in the sweet winter air
we lay folded and wrapped around each other
like paper animals and coccoons
smiling graciously at the sound of the wind
as it blows outside your window

MONOLITH
our heroes, like their predecessors
have fallen through the cracks
and the gears of industry
grind like teeth
wearing away at the fabric
that we are made
and like the statue of liberty
in some post apocalyptic vision
our monoliths crumble
and fall
before our eyes
have fallen through the cracks
and the gears of industry
grind like teeth
wearing away at the fabric
that we are made
and like the statue of liberty
in some post apocalyptic vision
our monoliths crumble
and fall
before our eyes
Lurker
all is black
and calm
the air
like oil
thick with smoke
a passing car
illuminates her eyes
young and weak
and I,
merely a visitor,
watch as her
thin legs cross
the street
in shadows.
I feel warmth
the seductive
gaze of youth
I am merely
a visitor
passing through
veins and arteries
with motor vehicles
as blood cells
giving life
to this
still
darkness
before
sleepers awaken
to screams
and calm
the air
like oil
thick with smoke
a passing car
illuminates her eyes
young and weak
and I,

wraith
every single word to every song
you seem to utter from your lips
erradicates this gut feeling
like morphine to pain
I can make this feel
dead
soon enough
anchors drop to the dirt
reaching its iron hands down
every ocean is lined with heartache
she used to walk so delicate
however, that has turned to stomps
underneath the stairs
the wraith, she sings
there she remains
every night, like you
reading words she can't even comprehend
slowly breathe as the blade cuts
and here we die
never to speak
deliver me from salvation
you were a vision
over and over
under the water
tonight we become
heaven and hell
eaten away by moths
cancer eats away at your soul
and mine
menacing like a drunken old man
every night over and over
release me

SAVAGES
childhood fantasies as monsters
we revoked every bit of joy
replaced it with a somber note
then shook it until it's eyeballs bled
all over the new sofa
italian leather
american blood
it's all the same when
you are pulling your hair out
screaming at a wall
that stands in the way between
you and your life
break me in half
and suck out the marrow
i want to be your plaything
just something you use
to pass the time
we revoked every bit of joy
replaced it with a somber note
then shook it until it's eyeballs bled
all over the new sofa

Skeletal Geometry
Skeletal geometry :
our bodies make
a straight line
between heaven and hell
parallel to that of which we encircle
and round our numbers
to the nearest possible decimal
inside one another
this symphony is pathetic
like teenagers drooling over text books
passing notes
and kissing hard
hands pressed firmly
to our jeans
I only need this tonight
as we kiss our lips melt
much like wax
dripping off a candle
and there is a rainforest
inside you
just all the trees
have been murdered
our ribs make a mirror image
only slightly changed
like living one day
after another
in your shadow
our bodies make
a straight line
between heaven and hell
parallel to that of which we encircle
and round our numbers
to the nearest possible decimal
inside one another
this symphony is pathetic

CHOAK
there is a void of words in this vacuum
like a broken mirror i am blinded
by obsceneties fired like a gun from my own mouth
i can breathe only in code
and speak only in tongues
my fire is a fire that roars
through the great wide midnight
and my heart is always hungry
for a fresh kill
for a fresh meal
for a little bit of change
reality is choking me out
and grasping onto the edge is
all that i can do to stop from drowning
thank you for the memories
thank you for the decency
to allow me to drop myself
deeper into this well
please don't bury me
i'm still breathing
like a broken mirror i am blinded
by obsceneties fired like a gun from my own mouth
i can breathe only in code
and speak only in tongues
my fire is a fire that roars
through the great wide midnight
and my heart is always hungry
for a fresh kill
for a fresh meal
for a little bit of change
reality is choking me out
and grasping onto the edge is
all that i can do to stop from drowning
thank you for the memories
thank you for the decency
to allow me to drop myself
deeper into this well
please don't bury me
i'm still breathing
